What the Endava interview is like
Endava is a consultancy with clients in Europe and the US. Its process usually has few stages, checks your English from the first call and has a technical interview focused on the basics and your projects. What varies most is how long they take to reply.
- Stages
- 3: call and English, technical, final technical + HR
- Typical total length
- Varies; candidates report waits between stages
- Language
- English checked from the first call
- Technical

- Online test
- In some countries: multiple choice, code and SQL
- First call
- About 15–30 min with talent acquisition
The stages, in order
According to candidate reports from different countries:
- Call with talent acquisition (15–30 min): your experience and your spoken English.
- Online test (in some countries): multiple-choice questions, coding tasks and some SQL.
- Technical interview: basics of your language and the projects on your CV. Sometimes live coding, such as reading data from an external API or adding a feature to existing code.
- Final interview: mixes technical and HR questions (goals, culture fit).

- Spoken English good enough to work with the client.
- Basics: object-oriented programming, SQL, Git; Linux and networking for DevOps.
- That you can explain in depth what you put on your CV.
